Tar and chip surfacing is a cost-effective method that provides a natural-looking surface. It is hardwearing and offers excellent traction for large commercial or residential driveways. Tar and Chip surfacing is a process of laying hot tar then applying a stone chip surface, which is then rolled and pressed. The process creates a solid surface with the effect of loose gravel.
There are different types and sizes of aggregate chippings to achieve your preferred finish. Chipping sizes vary from 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 20mm, 28mm and are available in a range of colours.
